Here's my effort at digital coloring once again. Flawed, I know, but it works.

I've had this in the works for a while now, as I've noticed a severe lack of son-sal art lately, even among fans.

Here's the couple sharing a rare moment of peace with eachother, being close and basking in eachothers love and company. Heaven knows it won't be long until they have to get back to buisness at hand and fight for freedom.

Flawed? I think it looks fantastic! I love the lighting in this! The choice of pose is quite and nice and the background is certainly fitting! Well done!

Aww... I keep meaning to post more art of them. I need to go through and color the pics and I'm so slow at coloring! At least I get to admire your work while I try to sort though my own.

Anyway, it's great seeing more Sonsal art from you. I love Sally's pose in this. It's really peaceful and cute. :aww:

Also, I think the background and the sky look great, colorwise.

Im so jealous i wish i could capture emotion like this!!! Just amazing, seeing how happy they are, nothing to interupt such a peaceful moment, something we all wish to enjoy. well at least i do!

Thanks! The back ground was a pain in my bum! Originally it had knothole but I was lazy while drawing and didn't do a good job, so I took it out and opted more for a 'sonics nightmare' inspired over cast day and show an open field. I was hoping the lighting would come out okay, I'm glad you like it ^^

Thanks, Sally is always fun for me to draw! Having her sleeping in Sonics arms was a new pose for me to draw, one I've been dying to try. I don't think that it came out too bad all things considered! I still feel my style of drawing Sonic and the other hedgehogs needs refining though. Oh well, practice more, right? ^_^

Aww, thats a sweet pic ^^

Theres something very intimate about getting away and napping after a picnic under a tree alone with the one you love! I remember a flashback that sonic had after the end-game comic and in one of the scenes he and Sally were under a tree snacking... that image always stuck with me, and in the end, I guess its what inspired this! It must have been issue 52... Anyways, here's to more sonsal art!
