EDIT

good news everyone!

End Edit

I think this stamp says a lot about a big problem I've been noticing on DA, and I think it's time for people who feel the same to be able to express it in a DA friendly way.

Let me explain.

First we had faves, a mass collection of works that we loved or admired or drew inspiration from! But try finding one picture in a sea of a thousand! DA had the great idea of giving us the collections feature so we can organise our favorite pictures so we can find them when the moment strikes! Firstly, let me say I LOVE this feature that the staff have come up with! It was a brilliant solution to a problem I've been having with my own faves (which are STILL being organised XD )

People would name thier collections, a section for digital, a section for traditional, a section for fanart, or multiple sections for different genres and series or artists! The possiblities were endless and fun...

Until I got someone collecting a picture of Celeste and adding it to thier hentai section....

Hopefully you understand why this was upsetting to me.

You take a lot of time creating a picture you think is tasteful (even if its nude, ARTISTIC nude is the focus) It bothered me greatly thinking someones sitting behind thier monitor, jacking off to a DA collection that my charecter is in... I've seen others become victims of this, esspecially other anthro artists getting thier pictures that are innocent and beautiful being sandwiched in a fetish collection between someone with breasts the size of boulders squirting milk and a girl with her legs spread open for the world to see. No where for a very innocent picture to be placed.

I don't mind people collecting my art, so long as it is in an appropriate and respectfully labeled collection. I have taken pictures of mine DOWN because of this.

This is not saying I don't support collections, its not saying I don't support peoples opinions....You, my watchers, have been AMAZING to me. I know there are many of you who like thier hentai, who like thier big boobs and butts, who love to say as much, but you so respectfully keep these comments to yourself while commenting on my pictures, and I respect you all so much for that! And THAT is what I'm hoping to achieve.

I'm not saying people can help what they think or feel about a picture, I'm not looking through glasses that rosey. The point is the artist DOES NOT need to know what you're jacking off to, especially when that was far from their intent with the picture created. That and it really hurts to see a piece you really worked on being added to a collection called 'HAWT FURRIES 'Tits and Ass' or 'BOOBIES'

If you agree with keeping collections respectful of the artist, please feel free to use this stamp.

If you disagree, and MUST say so, I ask again that you be respectful. Abusive comments will be hidden and the users blocked from my page.

This stamp was an idea collabed by myself and :iconsavagebinn:

All we want is to have our art respected. I hope you guys can agree and be sensitive to the feelings of others.

Thank you ^_^

So very true! It's seems very disrespectful to call somone's work porn when it was not made for that intent!

*can't fav this enough* ;_;

Exellent description, respectful but gets the point across!

Adding an innocent picture to a nasty collection is not a compliment, and it's happened to me too. x: Hopefully this'll get the message across!

Also, I really think we should keep pushing the idea that artists be given the ability to remove their own work from collections they don't want it in. That would save a lot of headache.

Agreed very much. I'm so using the stamp as it makes a good point. Its really disrespectful for a innocent pic to be put in a hardcore collection.

Nice job to the both of you for creating this stamp love <3.
